The Uncommon Thread

CHESTER, VT - Eight contemporary artists are set to exhibit in "The Uncommon Thread," the inaugural fiber show at the Vermont Institute of Contemporary Art (VTica) beginning Saturday, Aug. 25, in Chester, VT. The opening reception, open to the public and free of charge is set for Saturday, Aug. 25, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Featured artists include Vermont artists Judy Dales of Greensboro, Elizabeth Fram of Waterbury Center, Marilyn Gillis of Burlington, Karen Henderson of Montpelier, and Karen Kamenetzky of Brattleboro. They will be joined by Sandy Gregg of Cambridge, Mass., Wen Redmond of Strafford, N.H. and Susan Wei of Ashland, N.H.
The show will be on view through Oct. 21.
