Sometimes I wander
Through the woods
near lakes and streams
watching
to see what catches my eye
to see what natural joys
will enter my heart
bidden but never expected
it never seizes to surprise
and amaze
I bring those stimulating muses
returning
to my studioto show up again
in artful inspirations
