SDA Confluence Exhibit Highlights- Reflections on Water

Reflections on Water: Recent Works by Mary Edna Fraser,
Linda Gass and Barbara Lee Smith

This combo exhibit really complemented each other well in subject matter but the styles were quite diverse.

I have been a fan of Barbara's for some time now. Her courageous use of synthetic fiber and free applique were a parallel road to my own explorations. Barbara has found a successful and well deserved niche.

Thanks for posting these, Wen. How are Linda Glass's pieces mounted inside the little white frames? They look suspended by thread from the inside top of the frames ... or are they stiffened and back-mounted?

Hi Wen, this is my second try at posting a Comment ... the first one evidently disappeared into the ether! ;^) I was wondering how Linda Gass's small works are mounted in the little white frames. Are they suspended from the top, or somehow stiffened and mounted on a smaller block in the back? Thanks so much for posting these pictures.
