Wen Redmond mixed media/fiber
Wen Redmond has worked in the fiber field since 1973, when she made her first intuitive pieced art quilt. Her work merges digital processes, photography, collage and surface design; an unusual use of fiber. She delights in creating dialogue, changing perspectives and perceptions of fiber.

My fascination with photography is finding expression by printing directly onto various substrates, creating stitched textural constructions. I call this work Digital Fiber.

The more one looks at my work, the more you will find. I use transparent organza, which I dye, paint or print, and original photographs to create my Transparent Fiber Constructions.
Media Mix Collage A multi- layered collage, are assemblages of archival digital prints, combining painting and digital media into a one of a kind art piece.
Multi layered surface design creates Holographic Images. The work is layered with a duplicate photograph underneath so the viewer sees a 3-D effect. This is an innovative photography design technique. These need to be seen to be appreciated.
